The hot springs at Geysir and a glance at the Langjökullglacier, and the option of a snowmobile ride. The tour rounds off at the water-filled volcanic crater, Kerið. In this tour we drive to the Langjökull glacier. In Iceland´s climatic conditions your safety is our priority. Therefore our tours are designed to be flexible to necessary changes.
This classic drive introduces Þingvellir, the National Park, witch is the site of the world´s oldest parliament. It is approached by walking through Almannagjá, the Europe-America fault-line where plate tectonics are forcing America and Europe apart and creating Iceland, geology´s youngest country. Onwards to Lake Laugarvatn, thundering rainbow-ringed Gullfoss, (the golden waterfall).

This tour along the south coast passes the greenhouse town of Hveragerði, where hot-springs have been harnessed for the production of fruit and flowers. Followed by the vast panoramic view created by the ever-changing glacier flood plains where they merge with the dramatic black beaches.
The journey takes us to two waterfalls, the graceful Seljalandsfosswhere the sure-footed can walk behind the cascade, and impressive Skógarfoss. Skógarfosscarries water from two glaciers, Eyjafjallajökulland Mýrdalsjökull, which rests gracefully on the top of an active volcano, Mt. Katla.
Depending on weather conditions, the climax of the day is either to walk, drive or to take an optional snowmobile ride of Mýrdalsjökull glacier. (1 hour tour is ISK.18500, extra).
